About The Tournament Weekend

Take a weekend soccer vacation in Las Vegas, experience the nightlife, and festive spirit of our nation's most famous neon city. And this year, our hotel selection has been expanded to include Planet Hollywood and Cesars as well as the Paris Hotel and Bally's our usual star offerings.

Join us for our summer Las Vegas Soccer Tournament, and number 17 over all. It'll be played in cool evening temperatures from 5:30pm onwards (remember it's cool in the desert in the evening!) on Friday evening, August 27 and Saturday August 28, 2010.

Stay at our tournament hotel - the four star Paris Las Vegas, centrally located on the main Vegas strip. Relax by the pool, sample the casino, or walk to any of the other main Vegas sights. When it's time for soccer, we'll bring you out, by private coach (included in your package) to the soccer fields for the Vegas soccer tournament in the suburbs - a mere 20 mins away.

For four days, and three nights at the Paris hotel, plus happy hours, transportation to the tournament (no need to rent-a-car), and Soccer Resort tournament jerseys, prices start at $279. Read on!

The Soccer Resort is extremely excited to have local teams join our national series of tournaments. Play, yell, compete, or shake hands against teams from all over the U.S., Canada, Europe, and overseas – after-all it’s nice to play against some new teams. And if you win a top or consolation division, you’ll win up to $500 of credit towards one of our travel tournaments, such as Costa Rica, Miami South Beach, Hawaii, Iceland, Ireland, or London.

Soccer Tournament Details

We expect a large turn-out again in 2010 with teams from many leagues across the United States and Canada - this event has been going since 2003, so this summer it WILL be a big one!

The location of the event is the luscious grass fields in Summerlin, some of the best Bermuda grass fields in the entire United States. On the soccer side you get:

• 6v6 Soccer against classy opposition
• Five games guaranteed over two days
• 30 minutes per game
• Complimentary souvenir jerseys for travel teams
• Soccer travel prizes galore

• Complimentary bus to the tournament
• Trophies, and medals for winners/runners-up
• There will be two Coed divisions with 4 men and 4 women on each team. You can have more women, but not more men.
• There will be four Men’s divisions – Men’s OPEN, Men’s B, Men’s Over 30’s and Masters (Over 50)
• There will be three Women’s divisions – Women’s A, Women’s B and Women’s Over 30’s.

SAMPLE ITINERARY
Thursday - Arrive, and enjoy the best of Las Vegas - from The Paris Hotel swimming pool to Casino's and nightlife, not to mention partying with other teams.

Friday - Relax by the pool, at the Paris Hotel, enjoy the great weather.
Approx 3:30pm: Tournament bus will take your teams to the fields.
Approx 5:00pm: After a warm-up, and registration, your games begin
Approx 9/10pm: Tournament bus brings you home
Approx: Midnight: Get-together at the Tournament hotel bar

 
Saturday - Relax by the pool, recover from your late night fun, or just see the best of Las Vegas by day from Roller Coasters to Golfing to other sights.
Approx 3:30pm: Tournament bus will take your teams to the fields.
Approx 5:00pm: The games resume - will you make the playoffs?
Approx 9/10pm: Tournament bus arrives, and brings you home
Approx: Midnight: THE AWARDS PARTY - Don't miss it!

Sunday - Day of rest, day of travel, day of fun, or day of confession - your choice!

Tournament Prizes

Soccer Resort is not only a vacation weekend - but winners, and runners-up in the top divisions and lower level consolation cups always get Soccer Resort Bucks as a prize. This is not  actual money, but more like a credit or a discount on hotel and tournament packages for your next Travel  tournament. We don;t pretend it's like winning the lottery, but many of our teams appreciate that we are making further trips cheaper. These prizes are for travel to most but not all tournaments. More info

For this tournament we offer two hotels, both centrally located on the Vegas strip; the four star luxurious Paris Las Vegas and the slightly more inexpensive but classically elegant Bally’s. Both hotels feature their own casino, pool, spa, shopping center and restaurants.
