About The Tournament Weekend
Join us for our first Halloween tournament in New York October 31 for some 8v8 soccer. The Soccer Resort is staying home for a change and we’d love for you to come and join us here. New York is perhaps the worlds most famous city, and for good reason. We invite you to come find out why.

Our friends at Carlsberg will be providing complementary beer for all teams at the tournament Halloween after party!
It's $499 if you register for the early bird price to play per team - with a 14 person roster allowed - that works out at only $35 per person for a day of Soccer against out of state teams! Please note this tournament registration price is just NY, NJ, CT, and PA teams. If you are from out of town, you can take advantage of our great hotel and tournament packages.

Soccer Tournament Details
We expect an excellent turn out for New York following the success of last years visit and our home field advantage, if you will. Teams from leagues all across the United States, Canada and Europe will be represented.
The tournament will be played at Aviator Sports in Brooklyn, NY. On the soccer side you get:
- 8v8 soccer against classy opposition
- Four games guaranteed
- 30 minutes per game
- Complimentary souvenir jerseys for travel teams
- Soccer travel prizes galore
- Trophies for the winners and medals for the runners-up
Cost for local teams is $499 dollars (early bird). After this, price increases $50.
- There will be two Coed divisions with 4 men and 4 women on the field. You can have more women, but not more men.
- There will be five Men’s divisions – Men’s OPEN, Men’s B, Men’s Over 30’s , Men's Over 40's, and Masters (Over 50)
- There will be three Women’s divisions – Women’s A, Women’s B and Women’s Over 30’s.

Tournament Prizes
Soccer Resort is not only a vacation weekend - but winners, and runners-up in the top divisions and lower level consolation cups always get Soccer Resort Bucks as a prize. This is not actual money, but more like a credit or a discount on hotel and tournament packages for your next Travel tournament. We don;t pretend it's like winning the lottery, but many of our teams appreciate that we are making further trips cheaper. These prizes are for travel to most but not all tournaments. More info

Things to do
There’s a ton to do in New York City. Take a walk through the famous Central Park and then onto 5th avenue for some high class (window?) shopping. From there hop on the train down to Times Square to catch a Broadway play. Then jump in a cab and head to little Italy for a bite of Italian cuisine that almost make you forget which continent you’re actually on. The point is that not only are the options numerous and diverse but they are all incredibly accessible in New York. There’s a reason people say New Yorker’s walk every where; it’s because it’s easily done.
New York is also called the city that never sleeps, and that too is true. In New York the night isn’t over until the sun is up. With so much do to in order to take it all in there’s good reason why, the city has a bar on nearly every block and a number of excellent night clubs. Whatever it is you decide to do don’t hesitate to ask us for advice, we’ve been around this city long enough to know most of its ins and outs.
